Adding some activities to our Course Managing System

At Penn State university we use ANGEL as course management system (CMS) and we are transitioning to CANVAS. Both of them are powerful tools that enable faculty to use the Web to host and enhance courses without an extensive knowledge of HTML.

However, sometimes these systems lack specific resources that we find essential for our teaching or homework. For this reason, I usually enrich our CMS integrating other platforms. I create specific activities in third party platforms that later I integrate to the gradebook on my course management system.

Students in basic Spanish courses normally struggle to introduce themselves to other members of the class. I totally understand why the get confuse.

We have three ways to say our names in Spanish:

Using

Possessive

Mi nombre es Jaime

Using

Reflexive

Me llamo Jaime

Using

To Be verb

Yo soy Jaime

I wanted to show the students the three forms at the same time. So I went to www.educaplay.com. I purchased one year license and created some activities. Then, I downloaded the htlm5 file and integrated into our ANGEL course.
